The HELLENIC ASSOCIATION OF ENERGY TRADING & SUPPLY COMPANIES (E.S.E.P.I.E.) was established aiming to contribute to the development and strengthening of collective dialogue in the Greek electricity market.

Our member companies joined forces on 09.04.2014 with a vision to contribute to the development of the energy market, so as such a crucial industry to modernize and take effective steps forward, satisfying the expectations and needs of consumers and the Greek society as a whole.

The founding members of the Association are: Alpiq Energy Hellas, EFT Hellas, GEN-I Athens, GREEN, NRG Trading House, Sentrade, Volterra and WATT + VOLT.

Through activities such as the identification and promotion of issues related to the Greek electricity market, as well as monitoring, studying, analysing and submitting proposals on key matters, E.S.E.P.I.E. aims to assist productively in the market liberalisation process, forming a reliable interlocutor between the business community, policy planning bodies, scientific and research institutions and institutional stakeholders.

E.S.E.P.I.E. seeks to promote Greek electricity market liberalisation, according to the provisions of both the national and European law, so that end consumers and the Greek Economy as a whole enjoy better services at most competitive prices.
